growing up, i saw firsthand the challenges people face when systems fail them.
i always thought: if people had to experience the processes they designed for others, i guarantee their process wouldn’t be the way the are.
i’ve always believed that solutions exist – we just need to think outside our comfort to find them.
there is always a way and it will work.
My father, a first-generation Afro-Cuban and Vietnam veteran, instilled in me a crucial lesson: no one is coming to save me…ever.
As a result, I’ve embraced being an autodidact, building my life around relentless learning. From science to design, I focus on creating practical solutions to real-world problems. My work isn’t just about ideas, it’s about strategic execution.
my process is simple: fail > reflect > execute > grow
my mission is simple: to reduce friction in the human experience.
whether it’s poverty, homelessness, or systemic inequality, i’m committed to creating tools and opportunities that empower individuals and communities.
