My father, a first-generation Afro-Cuban and Vietnam veteran, instilled in me a crucial lesson: no one is coming to save me—ever.

As a result, I’ve embraced being an autodidact, building my life around relentless learning. From science to design, I focus on creating practical solutions to real-world problems. My work isn’t just about ideas; it’s about action.
